OBJECTIVES
Compare existing methods of broadband (300nm-3000nm), visible (300nm-700nm) and near infrared (700nm-3000nm) sea ice albedo parameterization and develop new methods to calculate these albedos during spring and summer using different satellite observations and in situ data.
Using CCSM3 simulations, analyze model sensitivity to different albedo parameterizations and quantify the uncertainties introduced by the errors associated with the different albedo representations.
